On January 1, 2013, Renters Warehouse will move its corporate office into new office space located at the intersection of 494 and Hwy 62 in Minnetonka at 6101 Baker Road. The company has grown at such a fast rate over the last three years that it has grown out of the 6500 square foot office space they currently occupy in Golden Valley.
Renters Warehouse is investing $150k of furniture and technology into the new 15000 square foot office space where employees will have private offices designed and installed by Unispace, an office design firm located in Burnsville, Minnesota. The space will include 2 conference rooms, a 60-person training room, a theater and break area along with a 3000 square foot area that will house the maintenance division of the company. The new space will house Renters Warehouse and its subsidiaries, Renters Warehouse U.S.A. and Pink Blue Real Estate.
Brenton Hayden, CEO states, “With our rapid growth, it will be good not to constantly be clawing for more space. This new and fun office space will give us room for teams to collaborate and work on special projects and plenty of room to grow in the future”.
The lease was executed by Steve Shepherd, Senior Associate with Colliers International, formerly Welsh companies, with a long term agreement between Renters Warehouse and the Utah State Retirement Investment Fund. “Through a sometimes difficult site selection and negotiation process, the team at Renters Warehouse secured an attractive space in a rapidly improving western suburban submarket at terms that compare favorably with the office market. Brenton has a great feel for real estate opportunities and timing, and I know he is excited to call Minnetonka and the Baker Technology Plaza home for Renters Warehouse. It should be a great location for one of Minnesota’s fastest growing companies”, says Shepherd.
