Relatively new to the single-family investment sector, turnkey investment companies are geared toward helping investors find strong opportunities. They purchase and renovate homes, place a tenant and then sell to investors looking for cash flowing assets. Turnkey operators also often manage the property after the sale. While this has potential to be a very sustainable solution for investors living in expensive metro areas seeking affordable, strong-yielding investments outside of their own geographies, the traditional turnkey solution is fraught with risks.
