Welcome back to the SFR Roundup with Noel Christopher. In today’s episode, Noel breaks down what he sees for the real estate market heading into 2020. So what do you need to know?
Here’s what you can expect on today’s episode:
- Availability and current inventory for single-family homes. Baby boomers cycling out of homeownership and millennials are cycling in, but what does that mean for investors?
- The build to rent market is still huge because of the demand of single-family rentals
- Homebuilders are working really hard to provide affordable homes, specifically for millennials
Noel also covers the unique opportunity for the small to mid-sized home builders to get into the single-family rental space and to start selling to investors. Investors are looking to invest and are gravitating towards the newer construction homes because of the mitigated risk with maintenance and condition of the home. He predicts the homebuilders that do this as a part of their model in 2020 are going to do great because they can pre-sell their inventory in advance.
